2. Audience Central’s Extended File Format Support:

Speeding up the process of segmentation and campaign launches, Unica 12.1.6 now supports an additional file format in Audience Central. Marketers can now use CSV files to create base tables and also directly create a database table from a CSV file, enhancing data management and segmentation capabilities.

3. New HTML Editor in Deliver:

The new version introduces an HTML Editor in Deliver, offering marketers a powerful tool to craft visually appealing and engaging email campaigns. With improved editing options, marketers can customize emails more efficiently and deliver compelling content to their audience.

4. Campaign Flowchart Versioning and Auto Re-execution:

Unica 12.1.6 has improved flowchart management with the new Flowchart Versioning feature. This allows marketers to save different versions of flowcharts, making it easier to view, track and manage changes. Moreover, the auto re-execution of scheduled Flowcharts after an error means that campaigns will continue running once the error clears. The system can automatically restart at the point where it had failed, saving time and minimizing disruptions.

5. Smarter Customer Engagement Capabilities:

Customer engagement enhancements include AI/ML integrations and enhanced personalization options. The Subject Line Analyser, in collaboration with Motiva AI, empowers marketers to optimize their email subject lines effectively. The tool provides a score based on clarity, spelling, spam risk, engagement, and concision, along with helpful hints for improvement. Additionally, it generates up to five different subject line variations, further boosting the chances of successful email campaigns.

6. Improved Rule Builder in Segment Central:

User experience enhancements were rolled out for the Rule Builder in Segment Central. Marketers now have the flexibility to group AND/OR fields together, providing a clearer view of the segment selection logic. This enhancement simplifies the process of defining complex rules for segmentation, enabling better audience targeting.

7. Scheduling of Rules in Unica Interact:

With this new version, marketers can now schedule rules with up to five different schedules for eligibility or suppression. This capability applies to strategies, Flex-Offers, and Triggered Actions, giving marketers more control over their customer interactions and campaign executions.

8. Redis Support for Faster Data Retrieval:

Unica 12.1.6 integrates with Redis as an L2 cache behind EHCache, enabling faster data retrieval and enhancing overall performance. The support for all major Redis deployment modes and the option to integrate with external Redis setups further empowers marketers with efficient data management capabilities.

9. Separation of DT (Design Time) from Campaign:

This version introduces the option of installing Design Time (DT) separately, providing marketers with more flexibility and control over their campaign creation and management processes.
