2015 Marketing Initiatives in Review

In 2015 we helped our clients with marketing technology challenges.

Among the capabilities we employed to help our clients market smarter and adapt faster:

Real-Time Marketing

Real-time marketing is prevalent and expanding as companies are seeing its value. We focused much of our work in 2015 on helping companies to adopt real-time marketing with implementations for:

  • A multi-brand hospitality company on its website
  • A telecom company on its IVR channel
  • An ecommerce company for order confirmations and other transactional emails.

Marketing Operations Management

We see continued interest in utilizing Marketing Operations Management (MOM) for streamlining processes, and found it particularly effective for the financial services industry:

  • A multi-business line financial services company used MOM to streamline processes- providing insight to management for resource management and improved efficiency
  • An investment management company adopted MOM to provide audit trails for approvals and enhanced team collaboration.

Electronic Wallet App

A Big Box Retailer that processes a high volume of coupons needed an omni channel capability for customers to redeem their coupons, either in-store or online.

The Pinpoint solution integrated the store's point of sale redemption systems with the ecommerce check-out and order management system to help the client adapt to the consumer need to use the discounts both instore and online  The result was a digital wallet capability for customers to manage their offers from a desktop or mobile device in real-time.

Personalized Marketing

We saw interest from specialty retailers in moving to personalized marketing. We helped these companies make the transformation from batch-and-blast emails to personalized marketing with a quick start solution that provided a targeted pilot marketing program.

A small retailer was introduced to personalized marketing with the quick start pilot program - implemented in less than 90 days - to help provide insight into the benefits and investment needed for the full roll-out.

We continue to assist many of our clients by providing marketing campaign development and technical expertise on an on-going basis.
