Joe Bodek

CTO

Joe Bodek, Chief Technology Officer and founder of Pinpoint Systems Corporation, is responsible for using his expansive technical knowledge to develop a wide range of technical solutions that support a client’s business and marketing needs.
Joe’s expertise with marketing automation software is displayed in his recent work on implementations of the Unica Affinium Suite; specifically, at a top five investment management company, a top five insurance company and a large gaming and entertainment company.  He has cross-industry experience and has worked with some of the largest marketing databases in the United States including: Fidelity Investments, Wachovia, Monster.com and Centocor.

Prior to Pinpoint, Joe was Technical Consultant and Director of Marketing Solutions for a CRM consultancy.  Joe managed client engagements and was a technical consultant responsible for architecture planning, hardware sizing, database design, data flow design, software deployment, systems integration and development activities.

Joe also served as a Senior Software Engineer with Covad Communications where he conceived and built customizable web-based and account management systems for consumer and business broadband subscribers.  Before Covad, he was a CRM consultant with Naviant where he helped to develop and support a data warehouse and decision support system for a large financial institution and created inventory management algorithms to support ad space sales and banner ad delivery for a large retailer.

Joe’s extended capabilities in technology deployment include: application development, database administration, system administration, system planning and network engineering. He has also worked with a wide range of mainstream vendor tools including Oracle, SQL Server, Solaris, Linux, Windows, Microstrategy and Brio. 

Joe earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University in Computer Science and Mathematics.
